About me

As you might have guessed, my name is Avianna Chao, and I am an experienced ISSF pistol shooter.

I’ve competed at numerous World Cups, World Championships, Continental Championships, Commonwealth Games, and the Olympic Games.

My events are 10 meter Air Pistol Women, and 25 meter Pistol Women (aka, Sport Pistol).

I’ve medalled at the 2005 Commonwealth Games (Team Bronze in 25m Pistol), the 2005 Championships of the Americas (Team Gold in Air Pistol and Team Bronze in Sport Pistol), and the 2007 Pan American Games (Gold in Air Pistol). I’ve also won the Canadian National Pistol Championships 5 times in Sport Pistol (2002-2004, 2009, 2010).
