In the past, because I did’t have access to electronic targets during training, I would feel nervous at larger competitions that used red/green lights to indicate start and stop. I know I am not the only one who is afraid to fire a late shot after the red light had shown. Any score is better than a zero I thought, but that’s hardly the right mindset to achieve high level performance.
Because of this need, I created the AvCLight system to help shooters who don’t train on electronic targets to become more comfortable with shooting timed events with light signal commands.
The AvCLight system gives you the ability to train with light signals anywhere you want. You can dry fire with it at home or in your training range, and you can take it to your live fire range and use it to create your own simulated electronic target. You can use it in indoor ranges, you can use it outside in the bright sun, you can use it even in the rain (just put it in a ziploc bag).
The system comes with everything you need, it has an integrated battery and wireless hot spot, so all you need is a phone or a tablet to control it. Set up takes seconds!
You can clip this on your target using a large binder clip. You can hang it from a nail. You can screw it on top of a tripod (it has an integrated 1/4″ tripod screw socket)
The built in battery is USB rechargable, and lasts many hours on one charge (probably longer than your arm will!)
