To install the numbered magazine bottom, follow these instructions:
- Press magazine (hold in right hand) into magazine bottom remover (hold in left hand).
- While pressing the magazine into the remover, press up on the bottom of the remover tool.
- Hold your thumb over the magazine bottom, and push it off while using that same thumb to retain the follower and spring.
- Remove the current magazine bottom.
- Keep thumb over the now open magazine bottom, holding the follower and spring still in place.
- Push new numbered magazine bottom on to magazine, and slide it into place until middle detent locks in place.
